Couldn’t restore iPhone backup after setup
- - Data recovery failed; no backup.
- - Device stolen in Nov 2025; last backup Oct 2025.
- - iCloud restore asked for the old device passcode; no backup.
I bought a new phone and I can't recover the data from my old phone; it says there is no data. My phone was stolen in November 2025, and I think my last backup was in Oct 2025.
I chose restore from iCloud and selected my old phone, which was an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it asked for that phone's passcode. I entered it, and after a while it showed a message that there was no data backup.
